I acquired an undergraduate MEng in Avionics from the University of Glasgow in 2004, during which I completed a last year placement at The Norwegian University of Science and Technology, Trondheim, Norway . I then moved location and tutorial fields by completing an MSc in Neuroinformatics and PhD in Biorobotics at the University of Edinburgh beneath the supervision of Prof Barbara Webb. In 2016 I took up a senior lecturer place on the Dept of Computer Science, University of Lincoln and joined the Lincoln Centre for Autonomous Systems .

Alongside my skilled life, I actually have a number of volunteer roles. I have had the honour of leading the music ministry team in my parish at All Saints Albany Creek for over 30 years.
